About Bennett Innovations

It's the1980s, and Joe Bennett is working a decent job in banking.  He's a singer and musician by temperament, and once he lands a side gig singing jingles, there's no turning back.  Joe starts Bennett Music Company from a music studio in a spare bedroom.

A few clients and projects later, Joe had hired a few audio pros and moved into an office on E. 56th Street. It's all audio all the time until a trusted client suggests that Joe get into video production.  Joe jumped right in, purchasing a computer editing system and a camera. He just didn't know how to use them.

Enter Bruce White. Bruce had worked for two TV stations and a large Indianapolis production company before meeting Joe, and the two immediately hit it off.   Joe hired Bruce in 1989 to help him run the video side of the growing business. In 1992, Bennett Innovations was christened as the team officially brings the audio and video sides of the business together.

Bennett Innovation thrived, then survived, then thrived again throughout the numerous changes in technology, the industry and personnel.  In 2008, Bruce became company president; a year later, he purchased the company outright.  Bruce says everything he knows about running a business he learned from Joe (and Joe probably agrees).

Bennett may not be in the same location since  the year Bennett was founded, and much has changed in Indianapolis and video production, but Bruce is still in charge, and still providing the anything-for-a-client service and creative approaches that have kept Bennett Innovations on the map for over thirty years.
