Born and raised in New Albany, Indiana (or "nob-nee" as the locals pronounce it), Kristin caught the radio bug in high school and has been working in the media production field ever since.

In 1991, she graduated from Butler University with a radio/TV major and cum laude honors (Kristin insisted that we include this). She then spent seven years as a duplication engineer and eventually studio manager for a local audio facility before joining the Bennett team as production coordinator in 2003.

More recently, Kristin gave birth to her daughter Evelyn in 2007.
