Flexibility is important for any business. When it comes to media production, especially multimedia, it's downright indispensable. In an interactive training program we created recently, BI displayed the kind of flexibility that would make a contortionist swell up with pride.

For weeks we had prepared to produce the piece as a sophisticated DVD, complete with quizzes and conditional menus. As requirements changed, however, it became clear that our clients would be better served with a different approach. So, with the deadline fast approaching, we turned the entire production on a dime and built the program as a Flash-based CD-ROM.

In the end, we hit the deadline with a product that could run on Mac, PC or (if we had felt like it) even the web- all with video quality most folks thought wasn't possible with Flash.
