A few of our clients have really gotten into the newest version of Guitar hero and won't stop talking about it.

For those who don't know, it's a game for Xbox and Playstation where you "play" notes in time with classic rock and metal tracks from the likes of Cheap Trick and Black Sabbath. The game controller is a small plastic guitar with 5 fret buttons and a strum sensor. It even has a whammy bar for heavy duty shredding.

As our composer Greg McGuirk and resident six-string maven Bob Haggard could easily attest, playing "Carry on My Wayward Son" on Guitar Hero might be quite an accomplishment, but it doesn't come close to the real thing. On the other hand, it's also ridiculously fun.
